Colgan was brilliant made a fantastic save 1-on-1 earlier in the match when the striker should have scored.

Watched at least one sitter go in while stood a mile off his line.

Drop him on Tuesday neet and bring in large Gerry. Get Souza in at centre 'aif because Reid has been a weak link at the back for some time.

Agree Amos...........

with your original comment. Part of the defence that leaked so many last season and the season before. I see nothing has changed. Colgan for the third was chuffing stood motionless on his line watching it go in.

It about time you lot changed the fecking record

Colgan was not at fault for any of the goals, the defence in front of him was *****.

Only wanting to debate and not argue mate, but did the defence make Colgan stay on his line for the third and watch the ball go into the net instead of trying to stop it?

What did you forget Kozluk let the player come inside far too easy?

If Kozluk had done his job properly it wouldn't have mattered...

whether Colgan had stayed on his line or not for their 3rd, DB3K!

And I'm not saying that because a bloody great 4-by-4 Jeep, Reg.Nr RK02LUK cut me up on Dod'uth Road
the other day either, oh no!!! :D

Seriously though, it's harsh to blame Colgan for any of the goals - he's not wonder-man, and the plain fact is,
the defence in front of him simply didn't do their job.

He skinned both Kozluk and Reid , not just 1 defender, but 2 . You dont mention that!! just that Colgan should have stopped it.
If I was Colgan I would have punched their fecking lights out.
When I was playing in Goals (albeit not at this standard) it was the job of the defence to prevent the opposition attackers from getting into position to shoot, not to watch as they went past. Colgan must wonder just what he has done to deserve being in behind what can only be described as the most unorganised defence in football.
Davey said he knew what was required, he clearly does not.

No not at all. I know Kozluk had a stinker like the rest of them. Just wondered why Colgan stayed on his line and watched the ball go into the net instead of stopping it. Easy option for the manager now is to drop Colgan and he will.

I've made my feelings known previously about these two players, so I won't add much more about todays displays. I think that Reid is more of League One standard unfortunately, and today has not altered my opinion 1%. Same with Colgan really. I fail to see how a keeper with his experience still cannot organise the defence a bit better - I don't expect miracles - I know you can't educate pork, but a bit of organisation wouldn't go a miss. Also releasing the ball 5 minutes earlier when he has caught it would be very much appreciated.

I'd hope to see Muller in goal next week, and Souza replacing Reidy at centre half.

Reid is certainly not good enough. We'll always struggle with a back 4 that includes him. Can't blame Colgan for any of the goals. Don't rate him though. It says a lot when Shay Given and Paddy Kenny are injured that Republic of Ireland would rather play a division 3 goalie before Colgan.
