Don't know how much of this is true but a workmate of my sister knows someone who was having a driving lesson the other day and Colgan was in the back seat of the car because he's training to become a driving instructer.

so we could see a retirement at the end of this season then

especially if he eventually gets pushed out of the team by Muller

    He is only 33 FFS!

    Why would he retire?

Playing at Championship level, in Ireland squad, probably earning about £4k pw.

I would have thought all players would want to play on until they can't, in these times of great wages. it's not as though he has injury problems or owt and keepers seem to go on forever these days.

He could play on for another 5 years and earn the thick end of a million quid. Or he could become a driving instructor.

    He might have done

He's not retired though has he?

There's a difference between setting somethin up for the future for when you retire, and actually retiring.

He does have injury problems, why do you think he doesn't come out for crosses or jump too high.

    Hmm very interesting

seems to be a trend, ever since Rodger Wylde set up that dog-grooming parlour in Jump.
