    he must be knocking on in years now. 35ish surely?</p>

    not sure he is what we need though, but then again he cant be any worse than mister mattis.</p>

    Give the lad a break! OK he didn't look great but the extent of the negative feeling towards him is a little unjustified IMHO

    I agree he did not look upto it in the 3 games he played but the way he has been vilified is a bit unfair i think :)

    it might be a little unfair, but then again you could see in them 3 matches that he's not up to championship football. he's held a poor Bury team together but as done nothing else to suggest that he will be a good championship player. i honestly cant see him getting into our lineup at all unless we get injuries etc . . .

    He looked overawed by the whole thing I think.

    He didn't look confident at all and made a lot of mistakes. Solution of the Oakwell faithful - hammer the **** out of him.

    He didn't look great but this was not going to help him. I can't help but think the abuse he got was an extension of the hate for Simon Davey at the time. Not dissimilar to the way Chopra got abuse when Paul Hart was in charge.

    Hopefully he can get a good pre season under his belt, put some hard work in and start challenging for a first team place.

    agreed, im all for giving him a chance, i dont get this ' we'll get on our own players back business' get behind em if they make mistakes these things happen there humans not drones, people have short memorys alot of out current squad has come from lower league clubs.
