Has to be mighty to tie in with the "Mighty Quinn" song that the rest of it comes from. Trouble is most if not all the singers were not born at the time

"Quinn " is a simple enough tune and was heard all over in the1960s

Which other football songs stick to the original lyrics? I think you've found a solution though if that's the rules. Sam Winnall nka Feel the Noize.

Wednesday fans used to sing the Mighty Quinn song to their player Johnny Quinn. Does anybody remember it.

Yes I do and I am ashamed to say now that I used to frequent Hillsborough now and then just so I could see the big stars of the day. Football was a very different world then to what it is now. Older posters will remember that whenever the Reds were playing away there would be special Tracky buses from the bus station direct to Hillsborough and return.

And no, I am NOT A CLOSET WEDNESDAYITE! I just wanted the chance to see top class footballers. There were precious few of those at Oakwell in the 1960s.

I am also one of those who occasionally went to Hillsborough especially if the Reds were away at say Exeter or Plymout, not many fans went to them sort of away games. I often went to Bramall Lane or even dare I say it Elland Road. There were always buses going to them grounds. The songs the fans sang then were mainly to old 6Os songs.
