Sorry but he will not make it. I doubt if he will. The only chance he will make any goal scoring chances is if he gets bundled off the ball in the penalty area.

I disagree. Thought he gave us a lot of options and we looked worse when he got subbed off.

On the break he gives us a lot of pace, he seemd to link quite well at times with Nardiello, and with those two up front, it seemed like the first time in ages that our front line looked nimble and pacey, as opposed to a lumbering blunt object. I think Knight will make it, he just needs a goal to open his account. Don't get me wrong - he doesn't look like a twenty goal a season man, but he could hit twelve.

Thought he had a good game today. Lets face it for a small guy he is very strong, and he held the ball up well, and his control is very good. He takes some shifting off the ball when he has it. I thought he did well.

I think he could get thirteen.

I think defenders always hate a striker with pace, he will come good.

never played to his strengths. He scared the hell of of them everytime the ball was played for him to chase.

    Knight "contributed nothing"

In that case, we were watching a different game, my friend. Clever little through ball for Nads which nearly produced a goal when Hayes has the clearance saved, plus a header in the second half which went narrowly wide. Excellent touches plus running off the ball at times, a definite asset. Gave us options that we haven't had in along while. Just wait til he gets his first goal, will bag plenty.

    agreed

just needs a goal and he'll be off and running-can't get over how good he is in the air given his lack of height-he seems to discomfort much taller centre halfs and he gets stuck in

Yes I agree. My 2 boys thought he was the most exciting player on the pitch and they are only 9 and 7.

    Nardiello

disappointed by him yest, sorry to say but the chance he missed in the first 10 mins reminded me of Richards. maybe he's not fully match fit, but he also shouldve beaten the defender to the ball after Hayes shot was blocked. probably needs more games, hoping his sharpness will improve.

He admits he's only 60% fit due to being kept out of general training at Swansea. Let's give the lad time.

    Have to confess

Ive been advocating giving Nardiello a run cos of his finishing ability, but he missed chances that I wouldve expected him to take. Richards just isnt good enough though, full stop.

    Aye.

But he's the "best finisher in the world", or summat.
I'm just amazed his legs haven't fallen off yet.
His body is as robust as my toupe.

    That's 3 home games in a row I've missed.

    Fecking Raziak.

    To be fair.

    We should sign Rasziak.
That'll stop the w4nker from scoring.

I only watched the 2nd half in the pub.
Hoping to get my enthusiasm back over the festive period.

I think as soon as Nardys workload gets to the point that he's nearing fitness - his body will give way again.
He'll be retired in his mid twenties.
