We need a big hundred from someone. Vaughan has just thrown his wicket away 103 -2.

That would do, but I can't see us making it.

this is where the batting line up could be expolited

no real confidence in bell and pietersen being able to bat out 5/6 hours.

Shame it's not at Headingley. Much rain forecast there for next few days.

We shouldn't be looking for rain ....

... if we intend being the best team in the world. We should be looking to beat them and take the series 3-1.

Pieterson and Freddie to hit Warne out of the attack, Tait going for over 5 an over, his confidence shattered to pieces, Lee getting angrier and more wayward, McGrath just not finding his line and his 35yr old body showing signs of wear and tear through bowling too many overs after being out with injury.

Rack 350 up on the board then get Harmy, Hoggy and Freddie steaming in with some tricky spin from Giles. First innings lead, England leave Australia 350 to win with 1 day and 1 session to go, Australia are 74 for 1 end of day 4.

By the 3rd over of Day 5 they are 89 for 4 then a sticky partnership by Clarke and Ponting sees them up to 181 for 4 at lunch, all results still very possible.

1 hr after lunch comes the breakthrough, Ponting lbw from Hoggy and Ponting has a stand up row with umpire then pushes someone in the crowd on way back up pavilion steps, the crowd go ballistic, 2 more wickets fall and Australia are 278 for 7 at tea needing 72 runs or 3 wickets for England.

The crowd are singing Jerusalem, England are round the bat, Warne OUT from Giles, 295 for 8, Lee OUT (Freddie) 295 for 9, McGrath clean bowled golden duck (Hoggy), the ashes come home.
