Had a tenner on Kane to score anytime and England to win at 9/1.

What a result. Always getting told i'm not patriotic enough because I always think we will flop at major tournaments. But this time I for the first time since probably France 98 actually think we could win a tournament. Brilliant considering how many players were missing. Dier was like Scowen vs Fleetwood :)

Can't remember the last time our Rugby Union, Cricket and Football teams were all good at the same time. All young enough to improve with age too and play together for a long time to come without the need for wholesale changes.

It can only be a good thing when England are able to pick so many players from the same team. It was evidently obvious tonight that Dier, Alli, Kane and Rose were used to one another and getting a familiarity with one another is probably the key to tournament football.

I've thought for a while that this England side is capable of at least making the last 4.

I agree. The reason why I wouldn't mind Spurs winning the premiership because their manager both there and previously at Southampton has done so much good for English football giving them a chance.
