Some poor decision making so far with regards to some of the passes they are trying to make. Houghton did well with the free kick to put us in the lead.
What a thoroughly horrible lot the Cameroonian women are, cheating, spitting, dissent and a lack of respect for the laws of the game, I hope England get double figures
Really chuffed for Steph Houghton. She married Bolton Wanderers full back Stephen Darby in June 2018 and a couple of months later, it was announced that he had retired, because he had sadly been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Scoring a goal or captaining a winning World Cup side won't alleviate the heartache her husbands illness must have caused her, but if we do win it, it will at least be a happy memory for her to look back on.
Claiming FIFA are being racist towards them in the tunnel, apparently. I just don't think they understand the laws of the game, personally.
i do feel for them a bit for that disallowed goal. I mean, it was offside but I thought they could only use VAR for clear mistakes? The Cameroon player was mere inches offside, and you can see why the lineswoman deemed her onside at normal speed(so would that count as a clear and obvious mistake?).
I really don't like this directive they have given the linesmen where they have to keep their flags down for marginal offside calls. It's going to be carnage in the Premier League when they adopt it officially...
Yes this VAR still needs some work doing on it. The Cameroon effort not unlike Rashford’s effort disallowed for has having a toe nail offside against the Netherlands. I thought VAR was supposed to be to correct blatant refereeing mistakes but it is in fact being used in a nitpicking way.
It needs tweaking to allow the referee/assistants a margin of error, just like the "umpires call" for LBW's in cricket.
MOTD should be good then no w@nk pundits needed this coming season, could be a long prog though just Var replays lol
