Is he or is'nt he on offer for a Million Pounds. Or is this the minimum release fee. With rumours coming from all directions you owe it to the loyal fans to clear up the position.

    a. Has he a release clause in his contract ?

    b. Is the figure set at 1 million pounds ?

    c. If so many clubs (with money) want him surely its a 'sellers' market and we should ask for the best bid, Do you intend to do this ?

    b. Finally if we are to lose this valuable asset, what steps are to be taken to replace him ?

    Probably seen as bad form

to Shepherd to openly talk about player's contracts (despite the media seemingly knowing all about the clauses).

I very much doubt that any information the media have regarding release clauses or otherwise have come from Gordon

I'd be looking towards Muller's agent touting his wares - but lets be honest here - if there is a release clause his agent would be doing a lot wrong if he didnt make sure that premiership clubs knew about it.

I wouldnt expect any comments on this from the club until there is something concrete to say.
