We only get twenty odd times a season to see the Reds play at Oakwell so why would anyone who can get there choose not to go? It's not been a great season - long way short of that - but this is the LAST game of the season. Those who decide not to bother today will be missing it in a few weeks time with a summer of no football ahead. I've got nearly thirty miles to drive to get there but I'm setting off in a few minutes. So what's it to be - 2 or 3 minutes of lycra-clad boys in town or a whole football match to watch? No contest!
Because the last few games have been utter dross and its highly likely today will be no different. I'll be there as I have a ST but I don't blame anyone who stays away today. Nothing game with a poor side already on the beach and giving minimal effort.
It's still the last game of the season and there are three months of no football ahead of us. Sone might see that as a good thing but I will miss it. I'll enjoy following the cricket but it's not the same. Just arrived and the sun is coming out. Marvellous! Three points today.
