Surely with Messi out for upto two months too. I've thought he's the best player in the world for a few years now, but alot won't admit it because of his arogance.
Him and Messi are on a different level to every other player in the world. Its like Pele and Maradona playing in the same era, stop trying to argue who is best just enjoy the pair of them while they are around at the top of their game.
Just a shame that he's so unlikeable though. Pele was revered the world over, whilst Maradona had the bad boy charm as well as impressing us with his bravery, as defender after defender lined up to take a chunk out of his kneecaps. Ronaldo, for all his skill, just won't win over football fans in general because of his whinging, diving and prima donna tendencies. He may be the best in the world, but he'll never be many neutrals' favourite.
Have you seen Messi and Barcelona? They are forever round the referee trying to get folk booked/sent off - but Barca are the darlings of world football so it gets overlooked.
Oh yes the best two players in the world and people who say one or the other can argue their points as good as the other side can. Just think Ronaldo has the edge after doing it for two of the biggest clubs in the world, in three different countries and in a poorer international team too. Messi is quality and take nothing away from him but if Hemsy was played up front against the likes of Almeria with guys like Iniesta and Fabregas supplying him the balls he'd look like scoring too.
