I wish I was there as well , I am gonna have to trawl round the bars of Singapore looking for a boozer that will have at least the scores coming up.
Working , been here nearly 2 months now.
I couldn't imagine coming here for holiday , unless it was a 3 or 4 night stop over en route somewhere else , there are only som many air conditioned Shopping Malls one can visit.

Yeah, I've heard that's about all it adds up to! Is is a permanant posting out there, or you coming back at some point?
Hopefully I will be here for a couple of years.
Back in the UK at Xmas , but wont get to see any games though.
Its somewhat gutting.

How come? I'm actually also very disappointed that I'll only catch one game despite being home for 2 1/2 weeks, due to internationals and a friends' wedding! Better than nowt though I suppose......
Derby is my first game when returning from New Zealand...... Catching up with some people Ive never met before for a few pre match beers. Fancy it??
Derby is my first game too. I am going to hate missing the other games in between, nowt I can do though.
Singapore I thought it was pretty disappointing - like you say just loads and loads of Meadowhalls! Very humid too when I went. Have you tried fish eye porridge there, they seemed quite keen on it when I went. Rafters hotel and restuarant is pretty nice.
RE: Singapore Its humid virtually all day every day.
I have had a couple of Fish Head currys
I have had a Singapore Sling in the the Long Bar in Raffles , its quite expensive though.
You need to get away at weekends now and again methinks other wise you will go stir crazy methinks.

RE: Singapore We loved it when we went. Fantastic place and the eating malls were fantastic down Little India.
