    Right.

I for one now truely believe there has never been a fall out with radio sheffield.

they were the first, now oakwell am. it all designed for one thing. maximising income through the online world.

PC & everyone else at BFC, you will NEVER EVER get me to pay for online commentary.

in this day in age, the FA talk about tradition this tradition that, but the real tradition is listening to the match on the fecking radio!!!!

I can just imagine all the old folk now who are past it in terms of being able to go the match, they will now have nothing to listen to.

Not that I ever listened to oakwell am (which isn't the point) its about time the fans had a say, and what I am suggesting will never happen, because you will always have those who will pay for it just to listen. Well you have been duped, everyone should cancel their online subscription, after all, they won't update or support something that no-one uses, and maybe just maybe, they will then return to normal free to air radio.

Whilst I appreciate that the club need to raise income from every angle, this one is plain wrong!

    Rant fecking over!

I'd argue that tradition is actually going to matches, not listening.

Im not saying this decision is right, in fact it stinks. However, BFC are trying to get as many people through the door as possible - free season tickets for kids etc..... If the Cov home game was anything to go by then it hasn't worked.

Taking away the option of free commentary means you hav to either choose to go to the home matches or not listen to BFC. I certainly know having been away from it all for 12 months has meant not having BFC on saturday is a non starter for me.

Its a tough commercial decision that has been taken - and Im sure it wasn't taken lightly. To cancel it so early at the start of the season would sugget season ticket sales have not been what they should have been and pay on the door at Cov was below expectations.

You are making the assumption that everybody can get to every game for many due to illness disability or old age its just not possible. These days for some people especially the elderly on basic pensions football has had to move down the priority list.
