...........Obviously he dosent rate them, hence the drop in wages We either support Flicker or we dont...............I'm voting to support Flicker Been to the box office today to get my ST and while I was there they had the Hudders match on. So I watched about 15 minutes of the match..........Steele was shocking..........his distribution was school boyish........he was continually putting Barnsley on the defence Just watch it for yourself if you dont believe me As for Hassell.....he's been a good servent for the club but he cannot sustain Championship level football now on a regular basis He may have a good match here or there but its time he dropped down a division
The majority support his choices but not all with a pair of eyes and a brain cell support his explanations. Not sure if you qualify as to having both, one or neither.
I support Flicker 100% and I am 100% behind him and his team but that doesn't mean I have to think he is right about everything or share his opinion on all players and where Steele is concerned I don't agree. I can see an argument to support Flicker where Bobby is concerned (even though I don't agree) but not Steele, however I am not the manager of BFC and I am more than happy to leave the running of the team to David, Mickey and Martin.
After the Hudders match there was no one saying anything negative about Flicker Everybody was upbeat about a young fantastic manager we had got.............after just a few weeks that has all evaporated and we are back to questioning the judgement of the team manager..........its pathetic I'm sure Flicker knows more about the job than all of us on here..........probably more than us all put together But in saying that there are a few of us that can actually see for ourselves that Steele and Hassell need to be moved on
Think Hassell will be here next season unless hes loaded and puts playing football ahead of cash. He could earn a mint from a testimonial season. Would need a great contract in league one to make it worth giving up a testimonial + bfc wage
I'm not questioning the judgement of the manager, but I am questioning the statement he has made. It makes no sense whatsoever
Steele and Hassell were key to our survival. Both last season, and the season before that. Your remark about Bobby not being able to 'sustain' Championship level football is proof that you didn't attend a game this year. He came in, out of the cold, no match fitness, and was as dependable as ever. He even scored the winner in one game. Not to mention it was his run forward and pass, that set up the Foz goal at Cardiff. But I'm preaching to the blind, aren't I? I'm sure you and Hemsworth share a pair of eyes.
