    Genuine common sense tells you that Devaney isn't getting the job as if he was getting the biggest managerial job of his career he would have been with the players on day 1 of pre season and would have been appointed by now.

    It's a bit of red tape stopping an announcement and we are in for a great season.

    But he was granted an extra few days holiday for him and his family, so not in anyway.

    Remember, these first few days are about fitness levels and stats - so coaching is minimal.
