    Just out of interest has anyone on here applied for tickets for any of the events.

    Should be a good Summer for the viewer, World Cup and Commonwealth Games.

    I did ! With a week to go before the cut-off they announced the two dates I'd applied for were undersubscribed. Guess what ... A week later I got an email saying I'd been unsuccessful !
    I also registered for the second anniversary games, only to find out they'll be in Glasgow next year and not London - some Olympic legacy !
    As a family with keen interest in athletics, we're all peed off with all the part-timers getting all the tickets and us missing out ! (I see a familiar theme here !)
    Btw, yes they're in Glasgow.

    Since it's taking place in my adopted home city I have appiled and been succesful. I've got an evening session for the Athletics and an evening session for the Boxing Finals. I also got some tickets for the Gymnastics but I've had to pass them on to a friend as it was the same evening as the Athletics.
