So only 10 teams are still playing in this division, 3 have gone up and 10 have gone down including 2 (Stockport and Grimsby) that have fallen down 3 divisions to the conference. Wimbledon no longer exist as they did. No matter what happens next, things are not *that* bad (yet).
I make it 9 teams still in the Division, 3 up and 12 down. Hope you weren't counting the Blunts as stil in.
Aint that just about where Parkin got the job after Spackman and a few Hodges caretaker games. Parkins stats that season weren`t that bad it were the **** start that got us relegated or am I dreaming.
Looking at the bottom eight in 2001-02 compared to now is interesting. As Scoff mentions, not only are many of them playing at a minging standard of football now, but the division back then on paper is a lot weaker than it is now. Think we should count our blessings... things are definitely better now. We were about to come very close to going into the fourth division and even out of business altogether in 2001-02, something which is a million miles away now. On a more serious note, great to see Wednesday have made sum of progress of minus one place in 11 years!!
