left the stadium as soon as the final, whistle got to my car in the car park at 2201 according to the clock, i was parked 3rd row in at the front, i asked the guy ( nicely) to shift the cone and let me and son in law out ( it works sometimes) he said sorry mate its 10 mins after the final whistle, it was like a ghost town, they eventually let us go at 2238, i even went and complained to the useless ******* of SYP on pontefract rd about being held against my will. what would have happened if i was on nights and missed a shift, what about people who had 2/3 hrs drive in front of them or people like me who just wanted to get home, park up and go celebrate in their local

tbf mate, if I was on a night shift and had to be away for 10pm, I wouldn't be parking in Oakwell car park on the night of a play off semi final. if they let you out they have to let everyone out. and he possibly loses his job for breaking police instructions.
i fully understand the 10 mins thing even though its a pain in the 'arris but jeez knocking nigh on 40 mins
