Computer Guys - Technical Help Please!!!!

    Just bought an old game and tried to Install it on my PC but half way through the installation it says I need a 486 or better to run this game and exits the installation.

    is it taking the piss or what. the game spec is as follows:

    GAME SPECIFICATIONS
    *******************

    486 DX 33 Processor
    Twinspeed CD-Rom Drive
    Mouse and Microsoft-Compatible DOS Mouse Driver
    8 MB RAM
    MS-DOS 5.0+
    SVGA Video Card
    Soundblaster Pro or 100% compatibles
    22Mb Hard Disk Space

    what am I doing wrong?? (battered)

    Sounds like it needs DOS or an old flavour of windows. If you are in WindowsXP you could try the program compatibility wizard - accessible from Help and Support- or find a copy of MS-DOS if its DOS only. What game is it???

    Ultimate Soccer Manager mate, a quality game, cheers for the info. I will try it on a w*nk PC.

    Or try a program called VDMSound. It creates a wrapper for you old dos apps to run in.
