Trying to get info off a USB flash drive.

When I put it in the slot it makes the correct noise, and a pop up displays "Found New Hardware"

However, when I go into my computer, there is nothing there to reciognise the USB flash drive

If I click on the pop up it insists I go thru a Found New Hardware Wizard - resulting in a message "an error occured the information is invalid"

    Ideas anyone??

    Not much help but...

... I'd try a different computer if possible.

I have a USB drive that is okay at home, but my work computer won't recognise it.

    Sorry can't be more helpful.

    Could be bad news

I had a USB that did that and nothing would get it to work again - think the firmware get's corrupted every now and again or teh circuit boards are rubbish (probably the latter)
