Computer/MP3 player help

    Just got a new cable for an existing mp3 player (creative zen), but it seems XP won't detect it as new hardware when it's plugged in. It will charge the player but won't find it to install drivers etc</p>

    Does anyone know anything about either problems detecting new hardward or creative zens themselves?
