Computer Tech. Help Please.

    Bought a new computer a couple of week ago and now find that I have to click 'Start' 10 to 12 times before the programme list comes up and stays up. Anyone any idea what the problem is?

    Probably too many other progs running in the background

    do a CTRL-ALT-DEL and see how many programmes are running
