Installed free AVG a year ago and keep up with all the updates.

Today, when I booted up I got a message to say that AVG had detected 2 Trojan files and had eliminated them.

Ran a scan and all clear.

Is this normal then. Is AVG that good, and does it detect stuff without you running a scan?

Can't allus pick up trojan bar-stewards on a scan 'cos the tw@ts lay dorment until summert triggers 'em. Thats when AVG zaps the little buggers.

Decent firewall that you can select which programs are allowed to run is handy an all.
