    It does concern me that in none of the recent interviews has Ritchie mentioned any moves for a central defender! Midfielder on trial - Still looking for a keeper - moves afoot for a striker. We do have plenty options at CH but apart from Reid they are all under 6 foot! I wonder if he is thinking that one of the "boys" is ready for the step up to the first team!

    Last night

    Reid was the only player not to be replaced while Kay was subbed in the 77th minute for a striker. Everyone else got 45 minutes. We have no cover at centre half.

    As I mentioned in my original post - I do recognise that we do have plenty cover Austin, Hassel, Kay, Togwell but again they are all under 6foot! An Injury to Reid and will have a back four all 5'11 or less!

    Now you are just getting silly. Because there is one world class CH that is smaller than any of ours that means ours are good enough! Are you confident in our CH options?

    What I'm saying is that Bobby Hassell is a more than capable centre half and his height doesn't matter a toss - mainly because he has such a good spring that he can jump at least as high as people several inches taller than him. Watch and see.

    Also he reads the game well so he often intervenes in situations before they become dangerous. That's using his brain, not his height.

    Hassel will play right back - only CH in an emergency! He is one out of the 4 possible 2nd CH's
