Yes as a younster,i was a sheff wed fan
that started when Owl won the cup in 1935i would be about 7 years old then
then when i learned to ride a bike
and got to14 years old
i used to bike to Hillsboro,then i strted goingto Oakwell
i found where that was after watchin Birdwell play in a cup final there
then used to go when each were at home,or wayching the best opposition
or i wanted to see so nso famous player
it stayed like that ,till i joined the army
then i get wed in1954 and lived in Athersley
then i became a staunch Barnsley supporter
