reyt, the thing is, yesterday a mate of mine who is a Tarn season ticket holder openly admitted that he use to support Sheff Wednesday, and if i remember rightly says he still likes them now. what shall i do about this? do i just sever ties with him, and pretend like he never existed or name and shame him? coz quite frankly i was shocked and apalled by this outburst from him and am in 2 minds whether to speak to him again. think i may have to move seats at oakwell as well to get away from him. any thoughts on the matter?
let it be for now.... if he then gets a mondays ticket in front of the reds next season, then by all means, nock his block off... we need ALL the supporters we can get.
Congratulate him for seeing the error of his ways then smack him for being so stupid in the first place
No point dwelling on the past It's more than likely that this lad is a proper Barnsley fan but he just used to go and watch a few games at Hillsbrough. I used to do that myself sometimes when they were in the Premier League. If Barnsley were away, and Wednesday were at home to a good side (Arsenal, Man. Utd etc), I'd sometimes go along and watch as a neutral.
RE: No point dwelling on the past i went to about 4 wednesday games as a youngster, but they were against the top teams at the time (neautral basis). Can remember aswell, that christmas my grandad bought me a wednesday shirt and always wondered why I never wore it!!
RE: No point dwelling on the past So as a neutral that means that you didnt want the Fowls to lose.Unreal.
RE: No point dwelling on the past shocking lad, your a disgrace - how dare you go to a Wednesday match. thy dint tell me ya use to go to the matches as well - thats even worse than liking them and buying their shirt. your an utter disgrace - u should hang your head in shame and repent all your wrongdoings.
