From what I've heard we have a shortlist and have interviewed at least one of them. I understand others are being considered.
We dont know who has applied. And I really have not got a clue who would have, but I would have hoped that the club had a list of who they WANTED to apply or approach on Saturday evening. If Mark Robins is the first choice on their list , then I hope he does well at the club, being honest though, he could hardly do a lot worse than the previous manager without actually getting relegated. fecking bad spelling
i think you're right The people on our wishlist do simply not want the job. Probably Curbishly, Jewell and Coppell's agents have not approached us expressing an interest. If this is the case then i'm warming more and more to Robins, and I was very uninspired when his name was first mentioned, but I'm now looking at it from a slightly more realistic view. Coppell would be my first choice but I'm sure he would walk into a job like Sheff U when blackwell gets the boot (or something similar) so why would he come to us. For me get him signed and let him start the job, up the reds!
To be honest, i think that they'll have had a short list made up in the summer. I'd be suprised if there are many 'big names' on the list. And I think, its an almost done deal with robins
