The people on the old BBS universally condemned TT's actions. Just as many are condemning the actions of confused. They are not defending what he did by any stretch of the imagination, merely thanking the old site admin team for the service they provided for us. Others have gone further and told TT he should post on here if he wants. Again, that is not defending the wrongs of the past. It is up to the courts to hand out punishment, not us. Like it or not, our society and this community is made up from a wide range of people. Few of us if any are perfect, far from it. We know about the indiscretions of one person due to press coverage, but the rest of us have kept our anonymity. I certainly wouldn't like to lay bare my entire life and have everyone on here judge if I’m worthy of being part of this community. Would you? If we all did that, how many of us would make the grade?

from the posts ive read nobody is defending what he did. But he has a right to get on with his life. he held his hands up and took his punishment. im sure if you knew everything about everyone who posts on here you would want to ban more than half of them

I,ve pulled some strokes and done some wicked 5hit in the past but i aint on the sex offenders register as far as i,m concerned the man should not even be allowed a computer let alone post, just a quick thought i wonder how the "big lills" feel about it baring in mind that thier 11 year old daughter is a regular contributer on this forum. there is a case for banning him from accessing the internet, but we dont know the particulars of the case. thats for the courts to decide isn't it. If he did post you dont have to talk to him to do you? thats my 2 penneth anyway we all entilted to a opnion

i have no problem with him posting on here at all. ive never met the bloke so i cant judge and wouldnt want to. However i would say given the nature of the crime internet use is a privledge i would not allow anyone in that psotion.
