...sets up the game on Friday a treat, important game for both clubs obviously. Icing on the cake last night was watching Leeds fans on SSN celebrate their win at Hull, then realise they'd gone bottom (neer) Can't wait to see them crying on my telly later this year with "We'll be back" written on their chests. Yeah, right you will, lol.
Leeds can't lose enough games.
I know we've won 2 on the spin, but still not expecting any points Friday neet. In the pub to numb it.

Welcome back I'll settle for a point from Friday's game now . But I also expect Michael Chopra to get on the scoresheet against us .
4 hour trip to Cardiff for a Friday night match on sky. Real fan territory that is.
Not me like, will be in't nice warm local with a pint. Armchair fan.

RE: Ta very much As I said, big game for both of us. Can't believe after the run we've just come out of that we're still in the mix. No wins in 13 games! Then again, shows how good our start to the season was. We need another 2 points to be safe (wicked) Started to play a little now at long last and after adding a bit of competition up front, Chops has banged in 4 crackers in 2 games and is playing out of his skin. He had looked disinterested before that for quite a few games. Looking forward to the game on Friday which I haven't been able to say for a while!
McPhail score? I'll have a pint of what your'e drinking! Hasn't looked remotely close to scoring since he's been here. He used to take free kicks for us but I think Dave Jones has realised that your average pre-school toddler can kick a ball harder than our Stephen, lol. One of my mates tried to have a flutter on himself scoring before McPhail before the Ipswich game but the bookie wouldn't give him odds!
Many would agree with that and it is obviously appealing. The cost of the trip buys a few beers as well so it feels like your drinking for free! Still doesn't beat being there though, eh? Loads down here echoing that though - we're expecting our lowest crowd of the season (by far) on Friday with below 10k predicted.
He's doing ok but has a tendancy to go AWOL. Sound familiar? Some of his distribution is excellent but I wouldn't want to rely on him in a game where you're going to have to scrap for everything. Give him time and space and he looks a world beater. Martin Jol singled him out after we drew at home to Spurs when he was given all the room in the world. Sides have closed him down a lot recently and it's been argued that this has stopped us from playing. I can see that point of view but think it's more to do with injuries/suspensions and our small squad. Oh, and the complete lack of form that most of our players were going through during our poor run.
yep, exaclty same as for us - can you imagine him in league 1!! he got battered out of games sometimes. no doubt that he has undoubtable class on the ball - for me he started to come good for us when he started putting his boot in, so he can do it if he is told to. i think if you go up he will be very useful in the prem as you generally get a little more time on the ball . cheers
All too familiar I used to say that when the going was tough you could rely on McPhail to perform some magic….and disappear from the game!
