Won his first Masters event in Cincinatti 2nite and will move up to 6th in the world on Monday. Wonder what his odds are for the US Open now?
He seems all right to me. So he said he supported anyone playing England, it's not as if most English folk (me for one excluded) don't feel the same about Scotland. He speaks well now and I for one wish him all the best.
Because he's actually British and worthy of our support. His belligerent Scottish stance is old hat and he's apologised for that more than enough times. His only problem is that daft fist-clenching thing that Henman used to do.
RE: Poncey skirt wearing swetty sock! Totally agree, who cares about the stupid sweatty? why comment on this website about him. This being "BRITISH" is a load of of old tosh. He is Scottish, people from Wales are Welsh etc, etc. Please dont try to link me to these nations, i am English and proud, not British(england) (england) (england) (england) (england)
Yes, well done I wonder what's wrong with people's lives that makes them spend so much time hating successful people.
when he was asked if he was British he said no he was Scottish, when asked about football he said he supported whoever England were playing. Congrats my arse.
RE: "British" because he's from Britain I am very proud to be English but also to be British and there is no reason why they two cannot combine in all of the constituent countries
I'd like to be pleased for him...
...but after his "anyone but England" comment I'll be backing whomever he plays.

Cocky young bugger eh? As we all tend to be at that age.
I'm sure many of us have insisted we are English rather than British, just to provoke a reaction and stake our claim.
The important thing is - despite all the small nation posturing and sabre rattling, Wales and Scotland will always be British. The corporate title owns them and they know it can be no other way, no matter how many independent parliaments you create.
Murray will be just as likeable a pussycat when he's commentating at Wimbledon in twenty years time, as John McEnroe is now.
