For The handling of providing clear guidance to care homes. Don’t allow visitors. But allow carers to move freely without the proper ppe. Homes are seeing deaths where no Covid was present. Weeks ago,
HOW ? No one was dying Through this virus.
Where was the Covid introduced into care homes.

Talking to one lady who worked in a care home who said it was Covid free. Weeks later, deaths. They have been left like lambs to the slaughter. Too little too late. Well done mate.
Also could I congratulate all celebrities and the like of having babies. Don’t want to miss anyone out. Oh except Boris I neither care or wish ill will.

Also patients being discharged into care homes which cannot refuse and some carrying the virus.
I too don’t wish any ill on Boris or family but he certainly doesn’t deserve any credits either. Bouncing around hospitals shaking hands laughing and joking whilst horrific scenes being broadcast from China, Italy and Spain and doing nothing to stop people arriving from these regions .
Then allowing Cheltenham before lockdown .
If I were Carrie I’d belt him one for putting her and their baby in harms way .

Agree mate. I fully understand this is a difficult situation to deal with. ( some care homes have volunteers that are living in. A truly difficult decision, but I would hazard a guess less fatalities) But lots of basics were missed. You don’t have to be a scientist to work some of em out. I fully understand when he says that no one should die unnecessarily on his watch. (Maybe having the damn thing changes his thoughts process.) Trouble is lots have.

In the privately run care homes is it the owners responsibility to ensure the safety of its residents?

Did you use your common sense or follow the given guidelines. I hope both. Companies of all kinds are supposed to be adhering to government guidelines ask ASOS. Government should have put stricter guidelines in place and made sure the profiteers of care homes. Provided the correct ppe. It didn’t happen. The governments stance on care homes was lacking to say the least. 4,000 deaths on today’s figures outside hospitals. Care home residents , nurses and carers now a priority. WTF they should have been at the top of the agenda alongside hospitals.
