It seems they've elected him for who he was based on his previous political career.

nothing like a electing a tory last time they've elected a racist tory now.

    well done clacton.

and why ?, is it because everybody might not agree with the same things you do, so you think its fair to brand them a racist, a bigot, call them thick and yours is the only opinion that matters, do you wear a brown shirt ?, is your birthday in april. this is directed at the THREAD not a particular person, its called democracy, don't look at what ukip are saying look at what the other parties doing, in the kingdom of the blind the one eyed man is king, I'm not trying to justify what certain parties are, or are not saying, just that the countries p155ed off with whats happening. mini rant over

Farage is an opportunist, just like Galloway, he tells people what they want to hear.
If, and it's a big if, he came to power, then this country would find that in reality the guy could not organise a piss up in a brewery. After saying that he would be at the front with his feet in the trough and a pint in each hand

'Farage is an opportunist.........he tells people what they want to hear'.

Or in other words.........Farage listens to what people are saying on the street and then adopts and represents those views.

Which very much sums up what every politician in their constituency should be doing..........but Labour and Tory politicians are not doing.

    Hence the rise of UKIP.

It's a very worrying thing that happened today. I sincerely hope this is just a blip, in the same way that BNP had their 15 minutes. But I fear it might not be

that's been my point for years, I cant understand the " my dad voted ( insert party) and his dad did so its good enough for me" don't get me wrong if you want to vote ( insert party) then do it but do it for the right reasons, things change so must your outlook, my grandparents weren't bothered about immigration, muslim supremacists, n.h.s. under funding, different times, different problems = different vote, and AT THE MOMENT ukip are saying most of the things most people want to hear. you know as an ex squaddie its , lead, follow or get out the fecking way, definite course of action not umming and arring

It doesnt matter if they were a comunist party... or a we love everybody party.. the point is that its shaken every one up... we needed a revolution to smash the two/three party system... hopefully this will encourage a party with different policys to the crap that the present ones try to force feed us..

If you don't like democracy, why not move rather than complain that one party isn't dominating politics?

if they take us Out of the EEC and

clamp down on immigration then they get my vote. Oh and before anyone starts and tries to make out I am being racist ... I do mean ALL immigration that's just not needed. I do realise we need skills coming to Britain, I am not that stupid. But for every skilled man/woman who comes there are God knows how many hanger on's and illegal immigrants too. That's what I would like to see controlling. I am also fed up with Europe controlling our Countries too. The Scots tried for independence and it was voted out. But had they voted yes they would still have been governed by Europe, and not themselves. This is only my opinion of it all, if anyone disagrees or thinks I am wrong, then fair enough. But I am entitled to an opinion as we live in a democracy.... we do don't we  ????
