You thoroughly deserved it. We were awful but your manager got his tactics spot on and every one of the Barnsley players was superb. I though Hassel was your man of the match.

Oh, and thanks to emergency f***ing engineering works outside Waterloo, I didn't even make the game (although that may have been a blessing in disguise!).

The one saving grace is that it may mean Grant isn't around for much longer - although I wouldn't put any money on it.

    Cheers mate

The majority of reaction I've seen from Chelsea fans has been full of praise for us.

Good luck in the Champ League.

sue Railtrack for every penny-useless bunch of incompetents

did many others miss it ? do you think the players were trying to get Avram the sack? I remember when the Mighty Nigel Spackman was our manager-abysmal start to the season -awful football-went to Sheff Wed scored first and then the team just stopped playing-lost 3-1? and he was sacked next day-best thing that could have happened-Grant's post match demeanour was that of a man on death row

if you get an English club in UCL you may just win it!

wish all fans were like you!

    Thanks - we'll need it!

Although in a way, if we get really lucky like Liverpool did and win it, that may mean that Grant gets another couple of seasons in charge when he's clearly not the man for the job.

There were a few people on my train but

I'm not sure how they were getting up there from Waterloo - the Chelsea trains were going from Euston so we had to cross London. I missed it by about 10 minutes in the end.

The players need to take a look at themselves as their attitude was a disgrace. BUT they clearly have no respect for Grant, and who can blame them? If you were JT, or Lampard, or Ballack, would you be willing to take orders from someone who's clearly not qualified to give them...? Me neither!

Good luck for the rest of the cup - really hope you win it now!

thnx blues clues its nice to see defeat taken cracefully and you actually giving us credid where its due i dont think chelsea were dross cole was immense i think that the reds got at you gave you no respect and that is what your team is not used to if more premier league teams had the same attitude it wouldnt be a 3 horse race for the title you could say this was a 1 off but hey we beat liverpool at anfield the championship is a good league with all teams beating each other not like the predictable premier league

Agreed. This has been the best FA cup for years

Whoever wins it now thoroughly deserves it.

Anyone who claims that the Premier League is the best in the world is a fool.

    Cheers

Good of you to come back.

The general consensus of who we want in the semi, is NOT West Brom as our keeper is on loan from them.

We (as in myself and the mates I go to game with) were most impressed by the speed of your players, combined with skill, as my mate said - he always thought Wayne Bridge was slow....but that's seeing him against Premiership players on telly. Joe Cole had some amazing touches - shame about the dying swan impression late in the game.

As long as we avoid West Brom

due to the problems with Luke Steele, I don't mind.

It's just sinking in that I'll see Barnsley at the 'new' Wembley, and if we get to the FA Cup final then I think I'll combust. I would imagine the FA hierachy and TV executives are cursing the fact none of the top 4 teams are still in, but in terms of openness, I genuinely think any of the remaining 4 can win it. Barnsley in Europe - now that would be an occasion.

I just hope that we can apply ourselves against Ipswich and the next few league games as we did against you. That was the most satisfying aspect of Saturday - the accusation could be levelled that we fluked the result at Anfield, but I thought we competed better against Chelsea, despite the last 15 minutes or so when the pressure was on.

I haven't seen much of Chelsea and don't know about all the inner turmoil, but replacing Mourinho with Grant looks to be absolute folly in light of Saturday especially.

You were right about Cudicini on crosses ! and Joe Cole - awesome, just a pity for you that the forwards didn't seem to be able to link with him.

It'll be a fantastic day out, that's for sure!

I guess Saturday's was a better performance than the one at Anfield, as we never really looked like scoring. At least Liverpoo made your keeper earn his pay!

Joe Cole was superb. Part of his problem was that SWP kept making poor runs, and Anelka just doesn't give us a cutting edge. And as for Malouda.....oh dear!

A tip for Wembley - don't drink anywhere near the ground. The pubs a sh**e!

That actually was a foul I think - he made it look

    like a dive though!

Bridge isn't slow. I'd have him in the team any day of the week ahead of Ashley Cole.

We were obviously the better 'footballing' side - the passing and movement at times made it difficult for your players. Unfortunately, we didn't do enough of it and there was no goal threat at all.

???? the Chelsea trains weren't going from Euston

also I made it accross London from south west london via waterloo to Kings cross no worries at all

FFS! I meant Kings Cross. Still not with it this morning!

A couple of other people said they made it into Waterloo ok. Got towards Clapham ok, then started going about 5 miles an hour. We then sat outside Vauxhall for ages before crawling into Waterloo. God knows what was going on.
