We give silly fouls and silly bookings away all the time. It drives me to distraction.

Tonight, a bit of good luck from a couple of ricochets meant a Rotherham player was sprinting towards our goal in a really dangerous position. There was no way Connell could get to him to put in a legal challenge so he made the decision to take him out.

I thought it was a fabulous foul. It potentially stopped a goal for the opposition. I'm not too impressed with the other 4 bookings he has but tonight he made the right decision. He has to take the yellow card and the suspension but if I was his manager he wouldn't be getting fined by me.

A lot of the bookings we receive do not benefit us at all. This one mattered and I'm fine with it.

if it’s just one game then he only misses Cambridge away, which even with their recent recovery of form, we should have enough to get past them without him.

I think it was silly. Not sure there was an immediate threat on goal and we were 2-0 up with about 4 minutes to play. I also think it could've been worse than a yellow. But not the end of the world, think Craig is good enough cover.
