    Was always going to be the case us not having a CEO all of the second half of the season to set us up for these early weeks of the post season.

    No matter what anyone says, targets are approached in the season so who was doing our approaching?

    Think some of the players we allegedly had lined up may have took up better offers or may be holding out for better offers.Would think it rare for a player to commit to Barnsley straight away rather than see whats out there first . Think stevie mallan was an exception to the rule but its still early so patience required .

    Do you know we were in for him, and if we were, dog you know the wages Forest will throw at him.
    Someone on here mentioned Cummings from Hibs. Forest in for him, £1million.
    Lower your expectations and you might not get as upset all the time.
    Are you also going to praise the club for the full back close to signing? Of course not. You'll have a moan again as usual.

    You've said this about every player we were linked with in January. I'd be surprised if that was the only thing stopping all three deals you've mentioned.
