Wish he'd hurry up and go to where he wants to, we don't want him Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
He'll never get to go to where he wants to because the guys a ****ing waste of footballing space Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The less spoke about this joker the better and the sooner he is gone the better. Your never going far in football if your 6ft odd then when a balls crossed in 5ft 7. career change needed.
Seen he getting some stick from the reds on twitter and rightly so get the feeling he doesn't like it here looking at his account hardly nothing about bfc scince October think that's a good bye tweet (I hope)
It would be interesting to know how much it's actually cost not just wages to have him here for 4 months, it's been a waste of time for him and half a season off his career. He should have gone months ago and maybe we could have had someone who might have at least tried a bit. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Thing is though we agreed a loan until January we even agreed a fee a believe subject to him impressing on loan. It's not just as easy as sending him back least we didn't just buy him and give him a 2 or 3 year contract and pay Bolton a fee. I'm not sure if we could have just ended the loan halfway through without Bolton agreeing to it and there not going to want that waste of a shirt back to pay his wages when they can't pay rest of their squad
You are right you couldnt just send him back but like you say it seems the only party to benefit from this loan was Bolton who saved a few quid not us or the player. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Me thinks lj has got a bad perception on players get shut of wilko isgrove and Smith they are getting paid money for old rope get some experienced old heads in and watch us climb up the table
Money slashed up against the wall paying Mr Wilko. Can anyone tell me the point of retaining him? Bad Bad Business BFC
Say what you want about loans but in this case, it was a good deal for us coz we wanted him permanent!! So that would have been another 1 or 2 year deal and having to pay somebody (again) up to free wage space to bring someone in who actually wants to play football!
We tried to. He turned us down. So we got him in on loan anyway. And then we're surprised that he isn't motivated. Someone who doesn't want to sign for us doesn't give us his best when we bring him in on loan? I would have never believed it.
Can only assume that he knew his number was up with the Trotters so he wanted to put himself in the shop window at Oakwell. No intention of signing for us all along I suspect. The fact that he scored a cracker on opening day and then got dropped probably didn't do his confidence much good but, then again, he doesn't appear to have put in much effort to get his place back. Curious one this. He looks a decent player on paper, and is still representing Ireland at U21 level, so he must have something. Must be a mental thing. Doesn't want to be in our gang so is sulking in the corner. Shameful if that is true.
