Someone showed me a video yesterday of Connor having a spat with fans up close and personal. After the game ended. Bit of a Dawson type incident by the look of it. Copied After full-time, fan footage from the Derby end captured Hourihane attempting to apologise to the away supporters, before appearing to defend himself and the team against complaints from a section of fans.
Hourihane was decent earlier on the in season, pretty sure he got into the league one team of the month, but he & the team itself just seem so inconsistent. I like Warne, decent manager, good man, but he's never going to play the type of football those Derby fans are expecting - I also think they're overestimating how good their squad actually is, even though their is some proper tripe in this league.
Well done Conor. He fronted up as captain and spoke to the fans when it should have been Warne who did it.
