Anyone heard anything? Apparently been told we've had a bid rejected but are hoping to tie up the transfer in the next few weeks.

Sounds like he wants to move up a level but Plymouth are reluctant to let him go, for what we've offered they'd rather keep him 12 months

And cog this time, he cost us 250k last year we made a profit last year, he's paid for, we owe nothing on him and he owes us nothing, we've lost £3 million due to being relegated so to me that means we earn 3 million for being promoted this season, say CAFC offered less then half a million, I'd say risking that to keep your best player and by keeping him you'd have one of the best strikers in the league its well worth the risk for a 3 million wind fall he'd still be worth 250k in January anyway if we look to be out of the running for promotion.

from reading the reports and opinions on his performances by you're fans, you don't think he's playing like he his to stay in league two do you ? he's trying his ****** off to improve himself as a player and his earnings, some players come across as their happy with what they've got but by the sounds of it everything about this lads screams he's looking to move on to better things.

Hadn't looked at it like that to be fair, in that case you're right he doesn't look like he's playing to stay in League 2, but he certainly seems very happy here, having said that, i think if he's not able to get into a higher league with us this season then he'll probably leave at the end of it, but he could easily get and probably get quite a reasonable amount of playing time in the Championship if his improvement this year is anything like it has been in the last 3 years, most of our fans would probably have released him after his first season here, and now some think we could get around 750k for him (That's a little bit steep) but to give an honest valuation of what i think he's worth/what it would take for us to part with him is probably around 250k with a sell on clause, and you'd still be getting the better deal out of that
