In fact, i've just passed through my optimistic joy phase. I've now just moved into my pessimistic woeful phase.
Darren Moore & Ronnie Branson to be announced as new management team tomorrow. Flitcroft to get the Blackpool job. Barnsley to get relegated, Blackpool to get promoted through the play-offs.

    There, that's better....

Why? If Don/Barry/PC?/Whoever have been gauging opinion from the views on here and elsewhere, giving the situation a completely clean sweep would have been a fair and probable outcome. Without doing a cross-check, I think it's safe to say there were more against Flitcroft staying than there were in favour. Equally, there was enough clamour for Higgy to suggest to them that the fans wanted him at the helm. Which set of evidence do they use in making a judgement? This morning's Flicker-out or tonight's Flicker-in? Why on earth would that be Don's darkest hour?? Bloody ridiculous.

I didn't want Flicker, it was Rowings choice to wait until after todays game to make a decision. He must have known a win would clamour for Flicker to get the job.

Alternatively, making a decision so close before the game could have destabilised the Club?? I'm just preparing for the worst now tbh, given the last two embrassments..

Surely there is no way that Flicker can be sacked. Even before today he was second most popular on the poll so not a difficult decision to make.

Agreed, he had the second highest pole before today's game, now he's top. Even if they were leaning towards A.N other the sign of a really good leader is someone who can accept that facts have changed and therefore with this new data our opinion needs to change. There's a word for people who cling on to the same old decisions even though the evidence has changed right infront of their face - Politicians.
