I would have expected Danny Wilson to have found an acceptable level of performance and consistency from his squad. He has had 50 games and we are languishing in the bottom half of the table (just a gentle reminder, this is the 3rd tier of Englsih football) looking more like a relegation battle than a play-off push. Whichever way you look at it, it is poor. I just cannot understand or accept that the likes of Danny Wilson and Chris Hutchings, with bags of managerial / coaching experience, are not putting on a better show than we are currently seeing.
you and a lot of others, the bit I don't get is when we can't do the basics like elementary defending, passing and tackling.
And all teams lose some games (which didn't even happen tonight). We're mid table, I'm not going to panic just yet.
Yes. It's not the end if the world and I don't think we will go down and will win as many as we lose. It's a WIP
No it's nothing g to do with wood for the trees it's wanting to try something different than the last 10 years!
Last seasons woeful performances under DW should have been the catalyst to make improvements this season (in a division lower). To me, it aint happened. So that is why I believe last season does have some influence on where we are now. Darwen called it Evolution.
Maybe that was the case this evening, but it has not been the case most of the season, where we have had quite a healthy (in fitness terms) squad.
Yes and we haven't lost the majority of games this season (8 out of 19), we didn't even lose tonight with 8 players out.
