Contact lense wearers...How long do you keep

monthly lenses for, I know the opticians say destroy after 1 month but various Doctors I have asked have given different advice........cheers...just thinking re getting some new ones...not really worn them much recently.....also how much do you pay for them....

 

I pay £11 a month I think and bin them after 30 days, but I doubt it would do any harm to go over that as long as they're clean.

 

Hubby pays high twenties a month but he has weird shaped eyes so needs to buy more expensive ones. I would change them after a month as your eyes can easily become infected.

 

I get them that you wear for 30 days constantly even sleeping in them, costs me £20 a month & I've got astigmatism so need toric lenses
