    I wonder if contract talks have stalled while this transfer uncertainty is up in the air.

    just think, about 6 weeks ago, me included, we were all shouting for AR to be offered a new contract, despite, at that stage, the short term dip in fortunes - we coudn't fathom why shep hadn't sorted it sooner.

    a chairman really cant offer his manager a new contract while the team are second from bottom and getting beaten week in week out can he?????
