Give em a call, explain the situation. maybe even say that she's out of work and can't meet the payments.

They may let her cancel, or reduce the package down to free to air.

Complained the other day about the cost of Sky and they knocked off 25% for the next 12 months. Go for it.

I got 35% reduction for the next 6 months off the top package, my mum phoned an hour later to do same and they cancelled her package!! All depends.
I've known in past that they are quite strict on the contract and will charge a % of the remaining fees owed.

trouble is if you're under contact, even if the names not spelt right, they've got you for the duration,
im moving next weekend and had sky......well since it began just about,
had BB with them for six months and it put you into a new 12 month deal,
lucky i dropped on a good rep

Brought up how it's unfair new customers get treated better than the existing ones and how new customers get it for less. The guy agreed, said we are a loyal customer because we have been with them years and always pay on time etc and gave a tenner off for the next year. 120 quid saved for paying 30 instead of 40 a month.
