im nearly sure flicker is but some on here say im wrong but i remember reading he signed a 3 year deal when he came and i can't remember hearing he penned a new deal at any stage, even when he took over as manager
Flicker is but may have a clause in his current deal? (If he keeps us up he gets a two year contract) and Luke steel is can see him going btw don't rate Ben either
one of my tennents are but I think they will renew another 12 months, well i hope they will, they've been very good.
im sure he's in the final year of 3 year contract and would be willing to bet on it unless he's signed a new deal at some stage
Correct, they were both on one year rolling contracts and unless something has changed with Flicker then he is still on the same contract. His position is temporary until the end of the season but this differs from his contract (I think).
when did he sign his rolling contract ? because the first he signed for us was a 3 year deal im sure of it
Me Out of contract in June. Dunno about next season yet but it's beginning to look like I might be a free agent.
Re: Me Flitcroft signed a rolling contract when he joined from then league one side Rochdale but when Friend Keith Hill got sacked after a home defeat to Blackburn and Flitcroft finally got given the job after a home win against Leeds him and/or Rowing said he was here until the end of the season and they would look at it again then. Hows that for you Eaststander.
Re: Me “Reuben’s the only player to be getting a deal at this time, we’re not looking at contracts for any of our senior players until later on the season. A lot will depend on where we are in the league, so we think that’s the best way of doing things.” This probably applies to Luke and a number of players. If we stay up, Luke gets his contract. If we don't, I'm afraid it looks like Bennannikk will be in the goal. Gulp. I expect Flicker to be offered a new deal very soon. He's done enough and will be highly sort after if he keeps this up. Even if he can't save us from the drop, he will still be the best man for the job and affordable. The fans will want it and it makes sense to make a decision on this before Don retires.
it will be in the press stuff when he first signed. He's on here to end of the season at the moment Nightmare.
Steele, Hassell, Edwards, Foster, Cranie, Cywka, Harewood, Scotland. Off the top of my head. Flitcroft was on a rolling deal with Hill. No idea whether it's changed, but he certainly wasn't on a 3 year deal as Nightmare seems to think.
i know he as a contract till the end of the season, what im asking is can anyone provide proof that he did have a year rolling contract, i think the reason he's got a contract till the end of the season is because that's how long his 3 year deal had left
http://www.thesackrace.com/news/9th-june-2011/barnsley-reveal-keith-hill-as-new-manager "Rochdale's assistant manager David Flitcroft joins Hill in the switch to Oakwell, with both of them signing one-year rolling contracts with the club."
