I've been uninspired by many of the suggestions for our next manager. Ones I'd hate to see are Blackwell, Megson, Butcher, Phil Brown, Steve Cotterill. Ones I'd like to see; Billy Davies, Owen Coyle, Sean O'Driscoll.

Would Di Canio be that bad? He's a young, ambitious manager - he's had an instant impact at Swindon and he's got good contacts in the game.

Would be a brilliant choice. O'driscoll is the current favourite but would choose di Canio over him. His record at Swindon is brilliant

So what if he is a fascist? I don't see what relevance it has to being our manager.

Or should we rule out anyone that has ever voted Tory as well?

Good chance of Swindon going up so I doubt we’ll get anywhere near even a discussion for him to come.

Did he turn Wednesday down last year as well?

He isn't my top choice but I'd have him over some of the candidates who've been mentioned. I suspect a few on here would need therapy if he was appointed.

I don't think anyone will be dancing in the streets regardless of which manager we get. I'd have said O'Driscoll immediately after Hill went, now I'm not so sure, it'll be a tough decision for Don and Baz to be fair...just as long as they don't appoint Flitcroft, I've got nothing against him and he seems a nice bloke, but it would be disastrous for the club.

As others have said, with Flitcroft in charge it would just be the same rubbish we had in 2012 but without the weird (sometimes humourous) interviews we had when his mate was here.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. I love his passion for the game and I think that would rub off on the support

The man is a fruit loop. His managerial credentials aren't proven.

But I'd pay £28 a game if he got it! What a shout. He'd bring people back IMO, and three or four thousand more on the gate would be worth ten points a season at least I reckon, not many like coming to the well at the best of times.

    Gerrim signed don

I personally think this is one of the best shouts for a new manager.

I'd welcome him with open arms and think he'd do a good job for us.

personally i think he would be the best choice for us, young ambitious manager with good ideas and would definitely bring fans back, although i'd be happy with o'driscoll, megson or redfearn as well.

Good manager, good leader, good motivator..............but crazy guy (and I like an element of this in a manager).

Swindon are probably a better option for him than BFC?

Win ratio (albeit mostly in Div 2) is ~60% !!!!
