is it the signing-and playing - of Wright that is causing us to start lumping the ball forwards? I know from the figures that as soon as Conlon was dropped we started on our unbeaten run with the demolition of Oldham-does having a target man make it an easy option for the defence to lump it ??

Would say probably not. With Wright & Hayes up front we played some excellent attacking football at PV. It was only when Ritchie took Wright off that we seemed to start hoofing it long, bizarrely.

First 2 down totally to Ritchie playing Austin at centre half and Hassle at right back imho.

I prefer Hassell at centre back as well

looks more composed and doesn't get pulled out of position-I thought Austin's preferred position was right back anyway?

Keystone cops-esque. Colgan saved what should have been a certain goal before they scored. wtf Ritchie was playing with that defensive formation God only knows.
