    I have got some AVI files on my laptop that I am wanting to convert to DVD. Problem is I downloaded a programme called DVD Santa which does the job but the quality is poor (the orginal AVI file is good quality). Anyone got ony other programme ideas I could use (preferably free!!) Cheers in advance

    Some advice from TM ...

    You want something that converts AVI files on your laptop to DVD.
    That's what you want.

    You have not been charged for this advice.

    ConvertXtoDvd seems to do ok, and can convert a variety of different formats.
    </p>

    Apart from that I use the stuff that was already pre-installed on mi PC (PowerProducer) which does the job for AVI &amp; VOB.

    I use DVD Santa and don't notice any difference from the original AVI.

    Maybe your Santa is the fake one with the elastic beard?

    This program works for me. It's all I use now.
