Yesterday tea-time I started to make a chicken korma. It was around 10mins from being complete (chicken not quite cooked through) and the electric went off. We had a power cut that was due to last a few hours apparently.
What I want to know is would it be safe to start cooking again, or is it too risky being chicken that has been partly cooked?
Ar lass wants to throw it away reluctantly. Can we save the meal? Can anything be done?

It should be fine to carry on cooking it - it will have marinated in the juice and should be OK as long as it is thoroughly cooked through.
What do you think happens at takeways and in restaurants - imagine the chicken kebab skewer - how many times does that get reheated?
You're right As long as its fresh chicken, and its cooked through thoroughly, he'll be reight. A bit of bacteria helps develop the immune system anyway
So long as it is solid pieces of chicken and you re-heat thoroughly so the chicken is at least 90 degrees C you will be fine. Bateria usually cop it at anything over 70 degrees c,
Simple solution. Pop it in a carrier bag. Poke a hole in the side. Then have intercourse with the chicken korma. You may end up with sparracuda salmonella ... but it'll be worth it.
I'm told that banging chicken korma ... ... is like banging a hot apple pie. Which is like cocking a quim. To be fair - what a load of ballax. I've never had an apple pie that is hairy, renks like haddock, froths when fiddled with & ends up giving you crabs.
