    Just thinking from last night, when was the last time we scored direct from a corner? I can barely remember it since Conor left. Cracking delivery from Hedges for Jackson's goal yesterday, and a 2nd assist for him to go with his 3 goals. Since Conor left we've had Kent and Moncur taking a lot of corners, and honestly a lot of the deliveries have been very poor. Hopefully Hedges can be someone who can take equally threatening deliveries as those that Hourihane used to take and we can score more from corners as we used to.

    As an aside, our wingers look to be a fantastic asset this season:
    Hammill: last 2 games, 1 goal and an assist
    Barnes: last 2 starts, 1 goal and 2 assists
    Hedges: this season, 3 goals and 2 assists

    Isgrove hasn't even come in to the side yet! Some great creative options out wide, very promising

    Last direct goal from a corner that I can remember was Kyle Reid away at Southend. Think we won 3-1, Nardiello got the other 2. Would be 2007 I think, when Davey had taken over?

    Think I've said what I mean wrong: I meant a header scored direct from a corner. Can't remember many since Conor left before last night

    So by that reckoning would you pair him with Hedges or Hammill on the opposite flank? Great options at our disposal, not forgetting the soon to be returning Isgrove as well.

    So I see. It was obviously an autocorrect error, rather than all those we've seen in the last month or two where posters are trying to tell Hecky he doesn't know how to do his job. They are PROPER errors, obviously.

    Was Matty James' goal at Derby from a corner? Cant remember now.

    Darren Barnard swung one straight in at home to Portsmouth in late 1998, we won 2-1. My first ever match at Oakwell. Think Ashley Ward got the other one.
