... when you loan a player from a Premier side, isn't it because you want someone really good that you cannot otherwise afford, not a bit part player (striker) that months later has never scored a goal. So why the hell do we keep playing Rigters, instead of giving someone like Mostto a chance?

Sometimes it pays off - Frazier Campbell at Hull last season for example. Must admit I'd be trying to find a way of cancelling this season loan though.

Thought he played well in the time that he got,

Did you go to the match? I'll presume not

He certainly wasn't a joke today

I'd be asking why Cureton is getting all the chances when the likes of Mostto are never given a chance. I've had as much influence on the Barnsley team as Cureton in the time he's been here.

Exactly, I thought Cureton was **** today he looked passed it. Macken didn't have the best of games

Having said that Moore was solid and Anderson looked more like the player he used to be before his injury

    Thought Rigters was impressive today.

He worked his arse off for a change, and that run where he beat 3 men before JCR got in his way would have been an awesome goal.

Did more than Macken (aside from the goal he's claiming) and Cureton comfortably. Luckily the midfield were good today and Darren Moore was immense.

Hope you're right. As I said earlier I had to come home at half time feeling ill, so I missed Rigters contribution today. If he looked interested, it's the first time in a red shirt and as JLWBL says it makes you wonder why all of a sudden.

Too damn right. Had a great shot soon after coming on that never even looked like a chance. He turned it into one which forced the keeper to tip it behind. IMO he has all the attributes to be a very good player. Needs a run of games if Cureton isn't gonna cut the mustard anymore.

When Rigters came he was a mile of full fitness

goodness knows where he had been training. He was sharp today and looked fitter and could have scored two goals in the short time he was on. I would play him from the start at Burnley and drop Cureton, who was absolutely rubbish today and should have been subbed well before half time.

    Rigters today

Should be drug tested, asked to pay back 2 months salary or win an award for his comedy immitation of Kayode Odejayi.

Always seems to be a good laugh at Oakwell these days.
